Welcome to Rodney District Sports (RDS)

Rodney District Sports (RDS) is a vibrant and inclusive club based in Silverdale, Auckland.

The club has been offering winter football for the past 9 years, catering to players from the age of 4 to veterans and is fully affiliated with Northern Region Football (NRF).

We foster a love for football through competitive membership structures and strong skills-based training programs.

RDS emphasises fair play, development and fun offering teams for various age groups, including junior, youth, and senior levels. With a growing membership from the Hibiscus Coast suburbs and beyond, RDS is dedicated to giving back to the community by providing low membership fees for juniors and competitive fees for seniors.

In the summer months, RDS extends its community spirit to offer in-house summer football and junior athletics. The athletics season provides our young ones with an introduction to a variety of track and field events, encouraging participation and excellence.

In collaboration with the Metro Community Trust, we also support and organise several fun, community events such as our annual Halloween Spook Tour and Colour Fun Run. These events are thoroughly enjoyed by the community and grow in numbers every year.
